Biomass-fired district heating for a hotel A918008

The Krimmlerfälle Hotel in Krimml in the Province of Salzburg, established in 1902, is operated by Herbert Schöppl GmbH & Co. KG. The hotel is replacing its old oil-fired central heating through connection to the biomass-fired district-heat system of Krimml. The 300 kW connection will result in annual savings of about 53,000 litres of fuel oil. Over the lifetime of the plant, 2,100 tonnes of CO2 will be avoided.
